MIDVALE, Utah – Oct. 13, 2017 – MagicPhoto.co debuted a new photo souvenir experience today at Gardner Village’s Witchfest. The experience produces a customized Harry Potter-style newspaper with images that come to life via a user’s mobile device. “We’re combining three different technologies to deliver a printed souvenir with photos that move, laugh, and talk to the viewer. “ says David Pliler, MagicPhoto.co’s COO. “The effect is truly magical.”

To get the effect, customers step into a portable video studio and record seven seconds of video in front of a green screen. Next, customers download a free mobile app that seams printed photos and recorded video together. The entire process takes about six minutes.

Customers walk away with a printed souvenir poster that comes to life beneath their mobile device. The effects are similar to those found in films and video games, but they happen in real-time and are tied to a real object.

“It’s taken a lot of innovation to create these effects quickly, and at a low cost. We think people will be delighted with the result” – David Pliler, MagicPhoto.co COO.

MagicPhoto’s Halloween Souvenir Experience is housed inside the Art Cottage at Gardner Village, October 19, 20, 21, 27, and 28.
